Fox Creek Golf Club Course Review
Two excellent side-by-side executive courses, both municipally owned. Fox Creek is a par 61 with some solid par 4s, several challenging par 3s and smallish greens that bring the short game into play. Legacy Golf Links is a par 58 with all the holes in the short-to-medium category. More of a modern design, with the ample greens comparable to those at top daily fee layouts. Both also have first class practice facilities and the courses are popular with women, juniors and novice golfers. Named as one of the Top Ten Best Practice Facilities in the United States by Sports Illustrated Magazine! Legacy and Fox Creek offer Atlanta’s best place to practice all aspects of your golf game. The combined facilities feature over 100 all natural grass range tees in addition to well appointed short game practice areas which include large bent grass putting greens and multiple chipping areas. The Golf Academy of Atlantaprovides golf instruction to golfers of all ability levels seven days a week. In addition to individual instruction, the academy offers golf schools, and group clinics throughout the year. Legacy Golf Links is a par 58 with all the holes in the short-to-medium category. There is some water along the way, with a few of the short par 4s requiring some precision to avoid danger. More of a modern design, with the ample greens comparable to those at top daily fee layouts. Both are popular with women, juniors and novice golfers, as well as those looking to play a quick 18. Both feature first-class practice facilities and top instructors that make the two among the most popular spots in all of Atlanta to work on your game. Fox Creek’s range is lighted, with the Legacy one of the area’s most family-friendly operations with an 18-hole putting course.
