Directions: I-20 East towards Augusta to Exit 82 (Conyers). Turn left off of the exit onto GA Hwy 138 and travel 3.7 miles to Centennial Olympic Parkway. Take a right onto Centennial Olympic Parkway and go 1 mile to club entrance on the left.
Newest of Arnold Palmer’s three Atlanta layouts. Among the toughest daily fee courses in area, with the back nine featuring some particularly demanding holes. Tight driving course with plenty of length and challenging greens to test all facets of game. Rock outcroppings on several holes offer appealing views but can come into play. Plenty of opportunities for scoring, but danger lurks throughout the course.
Palmer layout easy on the eyes, a true test of your game. The most recent addition of Arnold Palmer’s three Atlanta layouts, opening in the mid-’90s. Ranks among area’s toughest courses, although lofty slope rating may be a bit deceptive. Does not play as long as the yardage, but there are several extremely strong par 3s and 4s and plenty of opportunities to find trouble.
Take advantage of the handful of scoring opportunities, especially two visually dramatic and reachable par 5s and a short par 4 on the front nine, because there are few breathers on the back. Tight driving course with plenty of length that will challenge every aspect of your game from tee to green, with the putting surfaces matching the layout for difficulty if you are unable to keep your approach shots below the hole.
The quality of the layout and visual appeal that includes rock outcroppings on several holes will make some potential high numbers on the scorecard easier to take. Located adjacent to the equestrian site for the 1996 Olympics, the non-development setting makes it one of the most tranquil around. Zoysia fairways add to the experience, which is one of the most enjoyable in metro area.
