An excellent executive course that also features one of the area’s best and most expansive practice facilities. Playing to a par of 61 with seven par 4s, it is more like a regulation course than most executive layouts. There are some very solid par 4s and a few dangerous par 3s that will test the better players, but The Hooch is also a terrific layout for those new to the game

An excellent executive course that plays to a par of 61 with seven par 4s, and is more like a regulation course than most executive layouts, with a number of challenging holes from the back tees and quite a few hazards in play. “One of the Top Short Courses in American for 2006,” by Golf Range Magazine. There are some very solid par 4s that require more than a short iron approach and a few dangerous par 3s of up to 200 yards that will test the better players. The greens are comparable to those at the area’s top daily fee courses, and except for the abundance of par 3s, you’ll barely notice that it’s an executive layout. From the front set of tees, it’s a terrific venue for those new to the game, and the compact nature of the course allows you to walk and finish in far less time than regulation layouts. The practice facility is among the most expansive and busiest in all of Atlanta, with its convenient location making it a popular stop for those in Atlanta’s heavily-populated northeast suburbs.
