Who has the best odds to win the Masters The Masters Tournament is one of professional golf’s four major international championships. We are going to take a look at The Masters odds and let you know where you can bet online.

The Masters is the first of the four to take place during the calendar year, with games played in early April. What sets this championship apart from the other three is that it’s always hosted by the same venue: the private Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. It attracts many of the world’s top golfers and as a prize fund of $11.5 million to be shared among the highest-ranking players. Since its founding in 1934, there have been a total of 83 iterations. The most recent one was won by Tiger Woods; this was his fifth Masters won and his first since 2005. The golfer’s total number of Masters wins is one less than the record of six wins held by Jack Nicklaus, who’s widely regarded as the greatest professional golfer of all time.

Odds to Win Masters

The 2020 Masters Tournament will take place from 9-12 April. According to Oddschecker, the five golfers with the best odds to win Masters as of November 2019 are as follows:

            –           Brooks Koepka: 9/1

            –           Rory McIlroy: 21/2

            –           Tiger Woods: 11/1

            –           Dustin Johnson: 14/1

            –           Jon Rahm: 18/1

Of these, only Tiger Woods has ever won the championship outright before. However, at the 2019 championship, both Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson placed in the top two (along with one other golfer), while Jon Rahm placed in the top nine (along with two other golfers). As for Rory McIlroy, he didn’t fare as well as the others, finishing with a top 21 placing. He did enter the championship with high expectations, since he’d finished in the top 10 in the previous five editions.

Who has the best odds to win the Masters?

For US citizens looking to bet on the Masters Tournament online, the options are very limited. In fact, you’re only able to do this if you’re physically located within the state of New Jersey. If you’re in the state, you’ll be able to access a number of New Jersey-only online casinos and gambling sites. For a website to offer gambling services, it has to be fully licensed by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. In 2013, it became legal for land-based casinos in Atlantic City to offer online versions of casino and poker games. The law also permitted each of these casinos to share their licenses with a maximum of two other gambling brands. This meant that casino brands not based in Atlantic City were still able to offer online gambling to those in New Jersey, so long as they partnered with a licensed Atlantic City casino. Since 2018, online sports betting has been legal in the state.

There are some 17 online sportsbooks you can visit if you’re physically in the state of New Jersey. Some of the more prominent ones include Draftkings, William Hill, FanDuel, FoxBet and PointsBet. All of these offer numerous options for online sports betting and have plenty of regular promotions offering all sorts of bonuses. Online gambling in New Jersey is fully regulated and is completely safe and secure.

Land-Based Sports Betting In The US

While online sports betting is heavily restricted in the US, the same can’t be said for land-based sports betting. A total of 13 states have formally legalised sports betting in land-based venues, while bills have recently been passed in a further six states. In most of the remaining states, bills to legalise sports betting have been introduced, but not yet passed. For those looking to bet on the 2020 Masters Tournament, there are several places in the US that are worth going to. The previously mentioned Atlantic City has quite a few land-based casinos and nearly every one of them offers sports betting. As for Vegas, it’s well renowned throughout the world as a leading destination for casino games. However, it’s also fast becoming a top place for sports betting, with the city offering plenty of opportunities to place bets on all sorts of sporting events. The Bellagio Resort & Casino, Mandalay Bay, the Mirage Hotel & Casino and the MGM Grand are just a few of the many Vegas casinos that offer sports betting. As for places in Atlantic City to go, there’s the Golden Nugget Atlantic City Hotel, Casino & Marina, the Hard Rock Hotel Casino and Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel & Casino, to give some examples.

Odds to Win The Masters

If you’re looking to place bets on the 2020 Masters Tournament, the options are rather limited. Still, there are quite a few states where it’s legal to place bets on sporting events and if you happen to be in New Jersey, you can bet online as well. Even though odds to win the masters are out right now, things can change from now until April of next year. Will Tiger Woods claim victory for a sixth time or will another golfer beat him to it?
